The stay here was really great for a business trip. Location: the hotel was just off the centre of Thame, and a garden. And it's at a short distance from Famous House, ate there once or twice.

Historic building in the centre of town. Unique;-the decor and furniture, guest room layout, and public rooms reflect the personal taste of the proprietors. Great breakfast.
Having to go outside to get from room to restaurant. Not very soundproof room to room.

Good location in centre of town, good room in quiet block.
Limited choice at breakfast e.g no apple juice and poor choice of danish etc.

The location is excellent for exploring the cotswolds. Thame is a beautiful town. The breakfasts were excellent.
The walk from the bedroom complex to the main building for meals was not very well lit. The bathroom needed updating-not very inviting for a laze in the bath!

The hotel is central to the town and within easy walking distance of family I was visiting The room was comfortable and the bathroom adequate.
After checking in I was directed upstairs to my room by a very convoluted route which involved opening several doors with an awkward suitcase and travel bag. There was an easier route which I found later by myself. The check in person should have known this. The WiFi was unreliable but a very helpful barman named Guy came and reset the router so it worked. Fortunately I worked out what he had done so was able to reset it myself each time I wanted to go on line. Otherwise it would have been very frustrating

The rooms had been updated. Although the single room was quite small it was nice and bright and clean. You can't leave anything in the wardrobe now... as this has reduced to a few shelves and a short pole with hangers on....

We really enjoyed our stay in a cozy courtyard double room, where we appreciated the excellent breakfast and had fun playing card games in the garden area. The ambiance was lovely and we were pleasantly surprised by the live music on Saturday night. Although we did hear some noise from the kitchen early in the morning, it didn't ruin our experience at all. 😊

A very relaxed atmosphere and well positioned in the centre of town.
When I asked for an iron and ironing board, I had to go to reception to pick it up myself. Not the end of the world, just thought that it would be brought to the room.
